We utilize standard SSL encryption when accepting credit card information during online ordering and all online orders are placed through a secure server. To further enhance our security measures, no customer information is kept on our website and all credit card numbers are deleted from our accounting system after seven days. The only people who have access to credit card information are the operations manager and those directly responsible for card authorization. We share other personal information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing or shipping of your order. Our microscopes and accessories are manufactured under the strict guidelines established by ISO 9001: 2000 Standards. All our products come with years of warranty.
- Five Year Warranty for Microscopes - All our microscopes come with a five (5) year factory warranty against manufacturing defects, covering labor and parts.
- One Year Warranty for Accessories - All our microscope accessories (USB cameras, illuminators, illumination, dust covers, and etc.) come with a one (1) year warranty, except when specified in the description.
- Warranty Services - We, AmScope, provide all the warranty services. Please feel free to contact us whenever you need help.
- Buyers are responsible for round-way shipping and handling cost for warranty services.
- Warranty does not apply for consumable accessories and parts such as bulbs.

- Free Shipping - We ship UPS Ground for free within the lower 48 States of the US. Free Shipping does not apply to Hawaii and Alaska.
- Ship from Los Angeles - Our warehouses are located in southern California of the United States of America. All our products will be shipped from the greater Los Angeles area.
- Ship within 24 Hours - We usually ship orders out within 24 hours after receiving your payment except on weekends and holidays. We ship UPS Ground for orders within the United States and Canada unless requested otherwise. For international orders we usually ship via Priority MailŪ International of the United States Postal Service or UPS International. We also ship COD, shipments through other popular shipping companies, and express shipping upon request at possible extra cost. Tracking information will be directly emailed to you from the shipping company after your order is shipped out.
- Combined Shipping - We strongly recommend combine shipping and will combine shipping whenever it is possible to save you on shipping cost.
- Express Shipping - Next Day (AM and PM), 2nd Day, or 3 Day express shipping is available for most items at extra cost. Please call or email for a quote.
- Time to Deliver - International shipping via Airmail Parcel Post usually takes 4 - 10 days for delivery, depending on the speed of customs clearance of your country. | Return Policy |
AmScope has a 14-Day Return Policy. You have seven days from receipt of your purchase to test the item. If you are not satisfied with the product, please return it within the seven days in its original box and packing. Returns after 14 days are not permitted. We will refund your entire purchase price, less our actual original shipping and handling costs. You must email us with a written request for a return material authorization number (RMA#). You need to include in this email a detailed note on the reason(s) for the return, the model number of the product and your invoice number. Once you receive an RMA# from our offices, you may return the item. Without an RMA# your item will be returned to sender COD. Once the product is received at our facilities, it will be processed by our Returns & Exchanges department. It must be received back in the same, NEW condition with all original packing material and accessories that it was originally shipped in order to receive a full refund less shipping and handling cost. If this is not the case, a re-stocking fee will be assessed. Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees. If you think you receive an item in a defective condition, you must claim within 14 days. After 14 days, your purchase will be automatically covered by our warranty service.

- If you are unsatisfied and desire to return an item, please follow the instructions below:
- Returns Must Be Coordinated - Contact AmScope via email for a return authorization number (RMA#). Items returned without an RMA# will be returned to the sender COD.
- Returns Must Be Re-packaged in Original Shipping Materials - The items must be returned in the original packing material and received in "like new" condition. Using other packing may result in a 20% reduction in the refund amount.
- All Items and Accessories Must be Returned- Items missing parts or accessories will not be acceptable for refund or have at least 25% deducted from the refund amount.
- Instruments Must Be Received in New Condition - Instruments showing marks, such as scratches and dents, etc., due to usage will not be acceptable for refund.
- After 14 Days - Returns after 14 days are not permitted.
- If your item is damaged during shipping, please report these damages to the shipping company responsible and request a damage claim number and forward it to us. Please also take pictures of the damages and email them to us. We will have the shipping company pick up the damaged package(s). Upon receipt of the claim #, we will ship your replacement items.
- If you receive a wrong item, please take a picture of the received item and email it to us. Upon confirmation, a prepaid shipping label will be emailed to you for the return. Once this item is return-shipped we will immediately ship you the correct item. Please note, any claim after 14 days of receipt will be handled as a warranty issue.

We employ more than one full time staff in our online customer service department to reply to the hundreds of customer emails we receive per day. We continually make an effort to provide quick and informative service. However, this response time is dependent on the availability of the information you request and if the information you provided is complete. On most requests you should have a reply from us within 24 hours, if not quicker. You will receive a much faster response if you include the model #s or invoice #s of the items in question in your email and always quote previous emails back when you reply. If you do not receive a reply from us within 24 hours, please be patient. We do receive one or two "failure notice" for email delivery at times. Possible reasons include:
- Your (or our) email space is full;
- Your (or our) email Spam filters or other restrictions block the delivery;
- The email we receive with the code that is not readable.

| Custom Orders |
- Custom orders that are specially made according to buyers' requirements need to be paid before manufacturing and are not returnable.
- 220V versions are available for most models at an extra charge from $9.98 to $29.98. It may take more than two business days for 220V version orders to be upgraded and shipped out after we receive your payment.
